Will the major culling start before or right after the merger goes through?

If its anything like Symantec, day 1 things started but you never see or hear them, just someone you contact two weeks later was let go, so it will be a constant but whirring away in the background as and when people are needed or not
check to see if there are any W.A.R.N. Notices in any of the states for your company. Google "WARN Notice VMWare"
