Some layoffs happened in February, as stated below. Next layoff or potentially people getting fired, will be happening around June. How do I know this? Because they do it every 3 months or every quarter. Plus, I get news from certain people. So, if they do layoff’s or firings around June, the next quarter will be September. September is when they anticipate a potential lay off. Who are the lucky ones? The leads and managers who have been laid off because they get their severance.
Salem site- Another waive of layoffs/people getting fired is coming by january/february. If you’re one of those people who have warnings due to aht, the time is coming. They’ve been silent for the past 2-3 months, but their trying to hold the fork down until the holidays are over.
October. San Antonio is finally getting enough employees.

People were fired this week at Salem site. Not laid off, but fired. No severence package will be offered to them. Never have they been so strict with stats. Makes sense. The less people that are working, the less severence they will have to pay. A few people are on informal or formal warnings due to stats. It’s costing “Wells Fargo money” & blah blah is the silliest phrase that’s always used lol 😂 Brace yourselves!
I was let go on June 11th and sk were several others. I am technicaaly 60 day notice, then it is bye bye now. I do nave to say the information provided was good and helpful towrds future planning, we were acvised of the coming changes wnich helprc
Pretty quiet at the ‘Barn… Anyone have updates? They seem to be trying to fire ppl for any reason possible right now so have feeling July will be eventful
16 years of faithful service and shown the door after it was stated that my previous two team managers would be displaced for low account volume. Get out of WF.

Senior Leaders are coming to “visit” the Oregon Hillsboro site on June13th-20th. We had a similar visit when they announced the closure so just in case be ready because something it’s happening.
I hope we all are in agreement to close all accounts that we have with WF.
The hammer is dropping- lots moving to India. Pure greed since the bank makes a ton of money. Maybe customer deposits will come from India too because I’m moving my money.
With the Salem-Keizer school layoff, everything is unprecedented. Job hunting is gunna su-k. I really wish everyone the best of luck. We all have to survive & some of us have families and/ or a one household income. The higher ups having zero worries. Oregon better have enough unemployment for all of us lol

Some Team leads from Salem site also fired today. It’s coming!
Today some leaders were fired from overdraft collections Barnhart Building Hillsboro. The time is coming for the ones still there.
Salem & Hillsboro closing end of 2025 is the big news we got today. Technically, it can still happen any day, so nothing new
Wells Fargo sent out a email stating that will be adding a new team in India. Line of business complaints. It looks like more jobs are being sent overseas. Not to mention the rumors about layoffs coming in June
Facts on Barnhart & Sunset. Oh well. We all knows it’s coming. Maybe Wells Fargo deserves some more media attention 🤫🤫 It’s all discretely being swept under the rug
Most anyone who had any time with WF sunset and/or Barnhart knew back in 2022 they were pulling out of Oregon. The pathetic excuses they call management lied to their team members. The property that Barnhart sits on was sold to the city and the city has already announced its plans for affordable housing to be built there. Any manager who tells their team otherwise is an absolute liar. Gil and Kelsey can su-k a big fat one lol.
My therory is that Wells Fargo is gunna leave Oregon all together. Their opening up another massive call center in the east coast. I do agree with the higher elites knowing something we don’t. As soon as the federal reserve gave Wells Fargo a green lights, the layoff started happening . I could be wrong tho. That June lay off for Salem doesn’t seem too far fetched. Once Salem is laid off, then their probably going to concentrate on the branches. Or their gunna sell those branches to a different bank how they’ve done in the past.
I worked at the William Barnhart center for 7 years in home equity. All through the 2016 open accounts “troubles” and into covid. When covid hit they sent everyone home and shortly after that in March of 2020 they dissolved Home Equity all together and forced us all into the “Forbearance” department. Since 2020 Wellsfargo has not brought back home equity and you cannot get home equity lines from Wellsfargo anymore. Now they sell the tower in Portland and close sunset building (which is a newer facility as of 2017). All of which now paired with the recent reports of 2024 Wellsfargo layoffs. I’m telling you, the higher up elites in WF know something is up. They are tied with the federal reserve and if they don’t offer a line of credit on people’s homes. I’m betting they know something is about to happen with them. They are tightening their belts for a reason. Follow the money.

Rumour has it that Wells Fargo in Salem will be laying off employees sometime in June or sometime in the summer.
Just confirmed that Salem will also have layoffs. They didn’t say when. I have a feeling it will be happening sooner than later!
They continue this threat this every year, that the Barnhart Center lease is going to be up.
We were told today, that Barnhart will also be closed. The lease is up in 2025. They tried saying a few years but facts are facts. All of Oregon will no longer be in 2025

They are sending many of these jobs to India! some across the US. They have displaced long term employees some who are veterans and dedicated employees and moving to India. They have not given any of these dedicated employees any other job opportunities whatsoever. Trust me even though these people in India are required to have Masters degrees at less than half of the US salaries they will regret it! No way these jobs can be done like the people here! Not a chance their short term strategy to show Share holders short term profits will work for a smooth customer experience. it will cost so much money to the company in the long run! Reputation wise as well as money!
I don't know if I agree that Sunset isn't a major hub at least for Credit card/ lines of credit. When they moved us to EDB they realized they took their top site away and the LOB tanked we were moved back ASAP. I've been on disability carpal tunnel waiting for surgery and I've had zero info given to me about anything at all including Sunset closing & moving back to Barnhart.. any info to help one lost employee on what's up??
So typical for big business. There is a huge hiring push off shore to replace US staff with lower cost people. India is were 90% of the open positions are. Others at Sunset were told our move was pushed to October, the lease is up Nov at Sunset, but I don't expect us to actually move.
They probably need the ones that didn't get notice for a little while longer, so you consolidate the survivors into one building knowing full well you'll S can the rest when their replacements (likely in I&P but maybe a couple in a hub) are ready to take over.
Why would they move employees into WBC if Wells is moving out of WBC?
There's no new layoffs on October 20th. That is a misunderstanding of how this works. The workers were notified on August 22nd (the Tuesday after a pay day is how it always works) that they were now in a 60 day notice period. It is either a working notice, or a non-working leave of absence depending on how critical the worker is and if they are considered a security risk to retain access to WF systems.
They are still an employee until Friday, October 20th, as that is the end of the 60 day notice period. After the 20th they are no longer an employee and officially laid off.
Sunset was told there is no exact move date but it will happen between early to mid October

This seems to be the standard MO. I was displaced a while back and my 2 up was told the night before (5pm), but was not allowed to say anything or their job would be in jeopardy too. My direct manager found out 20 minutes before I did, and was not allowed to be the one to tell me I was displaced.
My coworkers (also displaced) but on various teams were the same. Two up managers found out at 5 pm the day before, but direct managers were not told.
