What 1diot down vote that? If they are forcing RTO, then they should ban WFH at the same time. Which part don't you understand? If you have not worked at night/weekend unpaid, you are not a Fiserv employee.
Now, Ban WFH. I am not working from home, any time. I only work in the office, 9-5.
Fiserv employees write software.
Clients purchase software.
Different Fiserv employees need to install the software for the clients so they can use the software.
Fiserv does not get money until the software is installed.
Frank puts the money in Frank's bank account.
What software are you guys talking about? Sapience? I thought all of us has that already installed
I agree. That laptop gets locked up in my desk at the office. If I get a call at night it’s “Sorry, my laptop is at the office.”
Absolutely, you say I'm not capable of doing my job remote, well good luck if you need me for anything before or after hours. Working remote I used to do what was needed. System issue at 5am, sure I'll jump on and take care of that before clients start of business. Now that you are forcing me into the office. Meh, it'll just have to wait till I'm in and rack up some downtime for the clients. I guess my being the office is more important than doing my job keeping things running.
Oh the good old days are gone when you were oncall and got:
- Company phone
- Laptop cellular aircard
Now it is like pay for your own laptop...
Amen. PC should stay at work. If that's in the sh---y BH office, then so be it.
