Does anyone know equivalent job titles at other banks, for example if someone is a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant at WF what is the equivalent tittle at BOA, Ally, Truist, Citi Bank, USAA, and Chase. Chucky change the titles to 5/6 buckets across every role; coordinator, analyst, senior analyst, lead analyst, senior lead, and principal, but i’m having the hardest time matching titles for my job search out of this dumpster fire headed straight to hyderabad

I did that after I got re-orged and my mgr who came from another bank didn't know the answer. I still don't know after additional re-orgs.

I have found that the issue isn't just with job titles, but also responsibilities. The responsibilities I have here, do not align with all of the responsibilities in a similar position. That means I might meet most of the basic requirements for a job, but not all of them, which takes me out of the running.
OP: the issue with aligning responsibilities vs titles is i’m getting junior level roles sent, instead of flagging titles. if i have project management flagged it’s sending me some jobs with 2-3 years of experience vs 12. our titles here do align in some capacity at other banks, and a thread of like titles is impactful to those looking to get out, especially bc this bank hires from other banks over internally every day. tell us what title you left and came to here, so we can do the reverse.
It's a fair point though - our peers are more closely aligned in titles and we are the outlier. The difference is the others are ok with using corp/job titles like Director/SVP or manager when you hit lead/sr lead, but here you don't get that. If you assume external recruiters are always reading your resume then it doesn't matter, but if they are searching on titles then it certainly could.
There is so much corporate BS industry wide that you will find better alignment by looking at Job responsibilities vs titles.
I'm sure senior lead tu-d is an industry standard job title
