There was no rhyme or reason on who they laid off. Some of the most talented employees were let go. Other companies are already reaping the benefits of these foolish layoffs. I know someone who got laid off Monday and is already interviewing.

To the Amazon guy- if you found out you were being laid off this week and truly managed to find and apply to a position, go through the screening and interview process, and receive a job offer with a 50% increase in pay within <4 days, you 100% got scammed.
Great you got a job. If you thought CVS culture was bad, Amazon really? Though good to see you land, Amazon is definition of evil employer

To the Amazon response - revenge is never the answer. Let God handle the bad behavior by CVS execs. Move on and do the right thing. Don’t stoop to their level.
I’ve already got a job offer with Amazon. Going to pay 50% more. My Goal is to aid in destroying CVS.
And no I won’t be telling anyone about it. I’d like to get my severance.

I was impacted in late June as part of an earlier round. I found my forever home quickly - with a fantastic package. Many high performers were let got - it is baffling.
