Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Would you ask a friend to apply at Fiserv?

How many would refer a friend to apply at Fiserv in order to get the referral bonus?
Me personally, the answer is NO! I wouldn't even do it for $10k

I just had a recruiter contact me for a job with Fiserv.

Coming back would be like running back into a burning building after having the good fortune of getting out.

If I really, really disliked my friend, then yes

Anybody who knows me would never apply there. If I've told them anything about the company from my experience, they'll avoid it like the plague.

As far as suggesting it to someone...oh my. That's the equivalent of suggesting that someone hide in the shed from the homicidal maniac chasing them.

I have a friend who I just found out is now a recruiter for Fiserv. I won't tell her anything about my experience there - unless I'm asked. She knows I am a former Fiserv employee.

Lol ok. I’m taking a $10k referral all day. It’s not that bad, relax.

I've told many people not to apply there. Toxic dumpster fire.

They are likely to get laid off one day before the referral bonus would vest. Or some other sort of shenanigan's.

FB here and I wouldn't even ask my own kid to apply at Fiserv.

Friends? No. Enemies? Yes.

No, because it's a dumpster fire, but also because it's not a cash deal, it's proof points to cash in for a gift card.

No. I used to be proud to work here. Now, I’m working towards getting out. I am disgusted by what this company has turned into.

I'm with the first respondent. If I knew someone was so hard up for a job they were starving every other day, and about to lose their home, and the bonus was massive enough and delivered fast enough that I can throw some cash in the direction of that friend while they get on their feet... AND I could give 100% full disclosure, then... maybe.

Absolutely not! I wouldn’t wish Fiserv as an employer on my worst enemy!

No I would not. This opinion was on the fence after KKR. That opinion went to a solid No shortly after FB started.

I wouldn’t even tell my enemy to work at Fiserv let alone a friend. Can’t trust a word upper management says. Ever since the merger they have lied over and over.

Only if they really needed a job and ibtold them the good, the bad, and the really ugly so they didn't go in blind.
