Welcome to SunTruist!
"It makes sense to simplify alignment."
With all the audit issues, leadership could at least try to be Lawful Evil.

Oh wow, when I left right after merger all his directs were in fierce competition to be named his successor. A lot of bootlicking for what looks like nothing.
Commercial Community Banking otherwise known as David Weaver's world.
What does CCB stand for? Can't speak for everyone but I sure wish posters would be specific!
Maybe “mom and pop” banking doesn’t have a future, but wasn’t SunTrust bought by a “mom and pop” bank. How can that happen to an enlightened leadership team following the superior metro approach? Only two possible explanations; either the approach, or the leadership team (or a combination of both) is bad. I think after three years the answer is pretty obvious.
When SunTruist is bought by a larger bank and you’re working for a mom and pop bank after getting cut you’ll appreciate it more then. All banking isn’t done in metropolitan areas. Those boomers y’all love to diss are the ones with money to spend and guess what, they don’t live in the metro areas that you think keep this bank alive.
If I was hBBT I'd be bitter too. Kelly King gave the bank away to a bunch of arrogant sheisters. The hSTI culture is alive and well at SunTruist and is the reason it's a sinking ship
Crazy seeing all these bitter hBBT bankers posting stuff, still thinking mom and pop banking has a future LOL
Matter of time. No importance to SunTruist. Giving up hard earned territory to competitors that have been profitable while also serving communities. So much for care.
