Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Living On Purpose: EL Gives Back Their 26% Raises

Yah, nooooot.

The same people who inflated company expenses gave themselves huge raises and bonuses.

4 weeks since Barclays. 4 weeks since announcing $300M in layoffs to the world before announcing them internally. Still no mention of EL giving any of their raises or bonuses back to help reduce expenses by 5%…

This bank needs new catch phases. Nothing is built on purpose or care.

Agreed but a UAW like protest would be very satisfying. The airline pilots have had mass work slow downs and call in sick days to show their displeasure. We should be organizing the same way.

Prisoners dilemma - while it’s in everyone’s best collective interest to walk away for a few days, it’s in no one’s individual best interest.

My advice: make peace with leaving regardless of what happens. If you get a package, great. If not, jump ship as soon as you have an opportunity. Excessive turnover is the only way a message can be sent

Marie Antoinette. Spff. Nobody here is gonna do anything. A mass walking of the job would send a message vs being on this board. Let bill run the teller line. It would crater the company and definitely lead to the ouster of EL. The bank would have to sold and so it would end Truist. Collective action or individual firings.

Give it back!? We earned it. It's not easy figuring out where and how much to cut.

When do we see a D&O suit? Mayo pretty much drafted the complaint!

Any truth to the rumor that Beau and Bill commute to Charlotte by corporate jet instead of moving like the plebs had to?

@1smi+1oVkCYEw Just like Marie Antoinette. 234 years ago today, ten thousand starving women marched from Paris to Versailles to prove her wrong.

Yes but never forget, they’re different…and better than you. They deserve it!

Maybe they could fly commercial sometime instead always using the private jets that cost $25K to fire up. There is a big amount of savings there considering they fly them daily. 365x25000=$9,125,000! More than enough savings!
