Oh, what an utterly genius plan we've stumbled upon! Our CEO, practically floating on a cloud of excitement about AI that's so thick you could cut it with a kn--e, has impeccably chosen this very moment – yes, this very nanosecond – to benevolently wave goodbye to our precious legacy hardware business. Because, let's face it, who needs that old stuff in this age of wonders? And, in a move so gracious it brings tears to the eyes, the CEO has magnanimously decided to bid adieu to a substantial portion of our hardworking and dedicated workforce, offering them the unparalleled gift of either embarking on new adventures or simply luxuriating in well-deserved leisure. It's sheer genius, isn't it? A shining example of strategic brilliance that will surely be celebrated for generations to come, wouldn't you say?

If HPE is trying to go completely as a service, I wonder what's going to happen to all the people working on non-green lake teams, it's not like the customers equipment's just going to expire and they are still under contract.
Just a couple of more days.
As Tom Petty would say.
The waiting is the hardest part!
On a positive note I hear this year's WFR package has been reduced $$ wise but it now comes with lube and a kinder and gentler automated AI voice-mail to notify you of your active status into the program.
Check your email for meeting invites Sunday night. It's the new best practice to send them between 10pm and midnight. Thanks for playing this year's October surprise.
So another week of speculation before the cuts come? Doesn't leave much time for an orderly exit if you have to go by end of October.
If i was a betting man, I would put my money on 10/16 as D day. I wouldn't think they would do the brutal job cutting on 10/9 which is indigenous people day otherwise known as Columbus day.
"Do the needful" That's an Indian term, something they never figured out means anything to Americans. You'll get yours too my friend!
They are going to kindly do the needful and cut the US workers. This is just a gentle reminder.
I'm hearing massive cuts are coming in the US.
Just wait till next Monday watch people get cut down in the US
Well DUH! Everything runs in the CLOUD now don't you know?! Hardware is NOT NECESSARY!
Was there a meeting that was missed today?
No need to worry about the CEO making bad decisions for HPE. It will get paid big time either way.
