An email was just sent by Kyle Malady to ALL VBG employees to return to the office at least 3 days per week starting Nov 1.

I'm a band 6 and nowhere near being a VP. I have nobody reporting to me.
Only band 4+ (Vice President and above) are to RTO in November. No changes for Directors and below for now
Thanks, now I've started looking for jobs elsewhere
So you mean to tell me that I need to go to an office even though my Team is all over the US- to collaborate with whom????? Sit in an open workspace to get on BJNs-wait we canned them- so get on video calls but as long as its in the office our sales will increase? Does Kyle not understand that Verizon teams are now spread across the US+?
My team is in APAC, EMEA and I’m in Cary. So it will be me driving to an office that has no job related team mates. Heck my boss is in EMEA. I get to listen to all the non work related talk, background noise as I write code. I work on projects that most people are not cleared to know of. I can go sit in the conference room by myself and work out problems. Drink the coffee while it’s free.
Pizza and Rita's ice for everybody. But seriously, Kyle needs to address the stock price issue and forget about the HR stuff. Five years ago we were at $60.00 now we are half that.
Incorrect. Band 6 is salaried and management as well
band 4 or higher. basically all salaried/non-exempt and salaried/exempt Verizon Business Group. The under 4 band at VZB is entry level/call center/part-time/shared-time employees. The sales office that I reported to about once a week prior to Covid is closed, and the nearest sales office to me is 140 miles. Since the school year has already begun I will be making the 2.75 hr commute in and out of the city on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The office manager gave all of the dept heads a loose schedule to follow and my boss is now plugging 9 of us in to some schedule of 3 per week where M-F there are at least 60%(50% is OK on Fridays at our office) reporting on any given day. I wish HCL would have offered me a 1 year job.
4+ means band 4, 3, 2. Lower band, but higher title.
+ always means increase so it would be higher.
It says band 4+ Does that mean band 4 and lower, or 4 and higher?
