Buckle up. Significant numbers this time across CSBB, Tech, Risk and others. Especially “remote” workers and those who haven’t met RTO quotas.

No one is safe, unless they are an executive, then you're very safe essentially if you ever worked for JPM or visited Epstein Island. Everyone else has an axe swinging towards their neck. Remote, non-hub, hub, it really doesn't matter. We're all gonna go.
There's a handful of us full remote workers in a city with a good size office building. We don't go in at all since we were hired as fully remote. Our city is not a hub city. Are we in danger since we're remote in a non-hub city or they'll just convert us to RTO workers?
Mortgage is still all remote, and here in Minneapolis we will be remote until June 2024 earliest. They have nowhere to put us, since they are trying to sell the main mortgage campus downtown
I was laid off in March. Trust me. Best thing ever!!!!! Escaped this ahi& hole. 14 months severance then retirement. Life is so much better without working for this corrupt place!!!!
Location Strategy 3.0: nothing but Hudson Yards + I&P.
It's happening. To the recipients of mid-year ratings of "does not meet" or "inconsistently meets": You will be blessed with freedom! Hope your severance is long and you use the time to retool and find something better to do with your life, rather than being a victim of wage theft by indiscriminate corporate vultures. All remaining employees will be sorry and overworked.
40k down, 150k to go, more like.
Location strategy 2.0 calls for vast majority of remote workers being gone at some point in 2025, not sure how far into 2025. As a director, this has been discussed openly on team calls, etc., so it is no secret. Obviously, I’m sure there will be exceptions, but the company does not want remote workers, that is crystal clear. Even remote in a hub will likely be forced into an office. 40,000 layoffs thus far, about 20-30,000 to go.

What LOB are you in? I know at a minimum of 1-2 remote people in every LOB. Maybe it’s just your team or sub LOB. Last check there were 20k+ who are remote. No doubt CS wants remote gone but it will take some time. Also, flawless execution is NOT a strength, even with his chainsaw tactics.
lot of tech folks in non approved locations that were given option a couple weeks back to relocate to an approved location or be laid off. those layoffs will happen at latest 17th
This is the longest I've ever been edged.
@fur I’m not OP and obviously there are bitter people on here always doing that but all of our remote employees were let go a year ago. I’m sure it depends on the LOB but it’s a real thing to some degree. I used to be 100% remote back in 2015-2017 and my old team is 100% in office now.
Thinking OP is the one always coming after remote workers. I've been remote since 2015, sorry OP hasn't ever been able to find a remote job other than during Covid.
Wf be like: performance reviews open today, also we are going to layoff everyone tomorrow, then a town hall the next day!
Nah, OP is a troll with a weird axe to grind against remote workers and cranks up the rumor mill out of spite
Hopefully so for this permanent remote worker of 15 years. Had enough of this circus. Already have things lined up.
Genuinely feel bad for those who are worried and also hopeful for those who want it to happen to them! If only we could all be so lucky for it to work out in our favor.
Let's do this already.......
Fed cash drying up. This might be it, folks.
@viv+1oTnhQBF, you've been reported.
non RTOers, don’t let the door….
You'll understand if I don't hold my breath.
I will sure exhale a long sigh of relief if it happens, though.
Bring it on. Let’s stop teasing.
Hold on to your hats. Best of luck everyone.
Well if that one nutcase took the time out of his day to spam upvotes on this it must be true lol
Big time anxiety in DSM. Tech operations, help desk, and complaints are apparently targets. But rumors are rumors, just that most of these previously have come to fruition.
