I'm nearly at the point where I'd rather be unemployed than unhappily employed. And to say I was unhappy at Truist would be an understatement. Not in a million years did I ever think I would actively be hoping to be laid off, but that's exactly where I am right now.

I left without a job and my health has improved a lot! Forget the leadership. I'm wanting a change in leadership and that is because I am tired of the share price falling!

Agree with advice above. I left the bank in 2022 with the same sentiment. I really enjoyed a year of working on personal projects. But the job market now is tough. Super tough! Make sure you have the ability to go a long time without an income before walking voluntarily! :)

This comment so true and this is the struggle.
Hold out and see what happens. If you have been there for a long time you can take advantage of a severance payment for years of service. You earned it. I went through it and I said the same thing you did but ride it out and see what happens but always be looking for that next opportunity.
