Curious to hear what everyone thinks of these "engagement hubs" and the fact that BR is not one of them. How is what SH describes any different than what happens in every Verizon location right now? The writing is on the wall my friends.

People that WFH are stealing from the company 100% of the time.
The writing is on the wall. Listen if you have ears!
Post it note Sam aged about 10 years since coming here. Time to leave Sam, you offer nothing.
HR and HRBP have proven to have no value IMO. This is another attempt to show them contributing 'something'.... You ask for help, they give the same website you already found that did not have the information you were looking for.
Stock tanking and all we see is more woke leftist bs from the Swedish Chef and company?!
I'm WFH and I got the letter. It'll be a 3hr 1 way commute for me! :(
I’m a hybrid worker and not based near a hub. It didn’t say in the email that we had to relocate or report to a hub, but after being here as long as I have, nothing would surprise me
Only folks that got it are hybrid workers, WFH did not get the emails
AT&T did this already. Either relocate to a hub location or AMF!
I'm far from the hubs and got the email last week. I'm in GTS.
My understanding is that they will also host Short-stay Rates.
"For those asking, there was an email about this last week."
I didn't get the email, but I also don't live anywhere near those sites.
For those asking, there was an email about this last week.
From Sam’s email: Our starter seven are Alpharetta, Ashburn/DC/Reston, Boston, Cary, India, Irving, and Lake Mary.
So people here seem to know about it, but no one says where. Cool
Feeling. It make no sense. Sam could be one of the d-mbest HR executive we ever had. Cristy must be laughing her a-s off at Intel.
Any changes to the way we currently work will be met with a ton of negative backlash. Is leadership ready to deal with the fallout? I know many who are committed to tanking all future Pulse scores. I doubt that matters for the bigger picture, but its the only way employees can get our frustrations across.
I'm also curious about which sites are the engagement hubs. This is the first I've heard of it
I don’t understand the idea behind the Hubs. Do the honestly think making some changes will entice people in on their own free will? My guess is these will be the options for mandatory RTO next year
The writing they mean is RTO. God I hope they make this giant mistake so that all the actual talent leaves and they are left with office a-s kissers are left. My puts on VZ aren’t gonna pay for themselves.
I’m certain basking ridge doesn’t need any engagement for the overflowing few parking spaces right by the door.
They did mention they are going to learn from the few phase 1 hubs and expand it to more so this won’t be the AT&T return or leave.
Which locations are the hubs?
writing is on the wall ? what wall ?
What they are starting is centralized hubs to support a minimum 3 or 4 day per week call to the office starting in 2024. If you can't show up, then like At&t, it's goodbye.
What’s an engagement hub?
The writing is on the wall??? What is the writing narrative?
Narrative: declaring bankruptcy, need for more RIFs, need for a new CEO, need for the VZ share price to be doubled, need for positive corporate free cash flow?
The writing is in the wall for what?
