Think about how many revenue producing jobs were cut to fund the competitive juggernaut that is the Truist Leadership Institute.
There is something mildly amusing about the tone-deafness involved in Truist teaching “leadership” at this point. I can only imagine the curriculum.
Day One - “How to cut your market cap in half in three years”. Day Two - “You too can alienate all of your employees with these simple strategies”. Day Three - “Who needs pesky customers when you can sell off your profitable segments to fund executive salaries”. Day Four - “Best tactics to create a Board to eliminate executive oversight”.

What if…. Bill gave back his 27% raise and the rest of EL who got 110% bonuses last year gave half of it back?
Imagine how many jobs would be saved. Wouldn’t this demonstrate Truist purpose and values?
