RTO-COVID

how long until RTO locations are swept with new COVID cases? I've heard of two locations on the East coast where numerous employees have been told to stay home after testing positive.

It's no different than the flu now. Just stop this COVID nonsense.

On this topic, a reminder that no knowledgeable medical professional has ever said the vaccine stops you from testing positive for Covid. The vaccine gets the body to build up immunity before you get Covid, so you fight it better if / when you do get it. If you don't breathe it in to begin with, you don't get it. The intent of the mask is then to try to stop one breathing it in to begin with. Naysayers of masks can ask their doctors not to wear masks next time they have surgery, too, apparently, since i guess they "don't work."

I have a close family member that died of Covid and had the vaccination. Anyone saying “protect your family” doesn’t know what they are talking about. We just had multiple people in my office all of whom were vaccinated test positive for Covid within a week.

well, I got a cold and normally I would have worked from home, but they wanted me in the office so I tried to stay away from people and wore a mask but probably still infected others. I hear people hacking sick worse than me. Who knows if they just have a cold or something worse (I was covid negative) but no matter what, more people will be getting sick working in crowded environments and not even being at the same desk from day to day.

OP- why keep the locations a secret?

No, you weren’t forced. The company mandated it and you opted to run out and get it instead of going down the vaccine exemption Path.

I'm honestly happy that it worked for you, but I also personally know several people who applied for an exception and were instantly denied. I suspect it depends on the business unit, just like some are now granting virtual status to some workers, while others demand 100% on site presence. On my team, we 100% felt like we were forced, or maybe coerced is a better term... really, the same damn thing.

Covid has broken out in our 2 facilities but not surprising. Kids went back to school and brought it home to mom, dad and siblings. People wearing masks but you hear lots of coughing and sneezing. It's spreading!

" I went down the exemption path I was granted one. I am still I unvaxxed, still Covid free, and still Have a job"
Your choice, but, such decision has sent us into more hospitalizations and complications because the anti-vaxxers did not follow the proven science. These FDA approved shots are effective in lessening symptoms and spread. As told by agreed studies, these variants are caused by the unvaccinated

I worked in the office with Covid. They’re tracking RTO. So be it.

I was exposed in the hospital caring for a family member. My org told me I could work from home last week to not potentially spread anything. I never actually got it. Point, my BU is siding on health and well being.

"how long until RTO locations are swept with new COVID cases? "
RTO will continue, with mandatory masks for everyone. Something to look forward to.

Outside of hub cities people aren’t RTO anyway.

I got the new booster last week and plan to get another next week. Since people insist on coming to work sick, I have to protect myself.

Wow! Do you know anyone with cancer whose immune system is tanked and covid could ki-l then? Was your org told to call in sick if you didn’t feel safe because you may infect them? But you are capable of working from home so you can protect them? Were you told nope no one cares? I was. Take sick time. Well I don’t know what org you work in but there is no work ferry that is going to do my job if I call in sick. I have to lean on people I respect to do it for me. Thank God for them! No one wants this and I think we could all accept it if they would set some clear rules and back up what they say about family being important. Clearly it’s not! Not sure at all how the koolaid drinking uppers look at themselves in the mirror but that’s on them. Selfish is an ugly emotion!

Well there’s a new booster out so you can run and get it. It will keep you safe. Three years later still haven’t had Covid and still unvaxxed. That natural immune system really can do what it’s supposed to if you just let it.

Look at the p-o levels and don't believe the media. Natural Immunity and Vaccine Immunity is working. The P-o Levels was half the amount that it was last summer and winter and p-o levels are dropping. Feel free to get your 10th booster if you're really scared of it.
