Why would someone betray you?
Excessive ambition and greed. When a person is overcome with these vices, he's liable to betray. It is greater than any sense of loyalty, integrity or honesty he may have.

What motivates traitors?
Ego is powerful motivator for betrayal. Characters may betray others to assert dominance, seek recognition, or simply because they believe they can get away with it.

Who is Charlie betraying?
The United States, The US economy, US workers, Wells Fargo employees, US communities - through offshoring/undercutting American jobs

What should happen to a traitor?
At the very least, banish him. Any man who undermines the stability and prosperity of our country should not be allowed to live here and enjoy the advantages, freedoms and opportunities of living in the US.

A Nigerian scammer? LOL. I've never thought about that, but that may be very true! Charlie is a big conman!

Its a little surprising that there are domestic admin assistants since all they do is shuffle paper and make appointments. There's a job that should have already been offloaded to I&P except for the fact that executive management wouldn't possibly be ok with that.

Charlie is a Machiavellian- a person who will do anything to get ahead and has a callous disregard for others.

I put him in the same sc-m of the earth category as puppy mill operators, dr-g dealers, those at the top of pyramid schemes and Nigerian scammers. Charlie is just dressed better in a nice suit.

That is the very definition of a traitor, being paid to betray others.

Charlie is doing what he was hired to do, reduce expenses. This always means layoffs and often ruins the company culture. I can’t stand his smug face, but he has laid out his plan from very early on and appears to be successful in executing.

The financial services industry in the U.S. is going to be worse than manufacturing in a few years, where the U.S. lost 2/5 of all manufacturing jobs. If you can do your job from home you WILL eventually be replaced by some off shore person.

Curious about the downvotes. Honest question- how is corporate greed good for America?

I tend to agree. Charlie is too busy competing against other CEOs and trying to make more money. He doesn't really care what others say, all that matters to him are money and power.

Umm, I’m not Charlie or anything, BUT I am pretty sure he doesn’t wake up and think about you.

This company can't even start to recover until CS and SP have moved on to ruin another business.
