Roanoke is equivalent of India. Everything is dirt cheap and backwards. WF can save a lot of money by hiring low wage people.
Roanoke = the armpit of VIrginia
87MM? Pffft, That’s one days profit
Aren't a lot of the ring leaders for the union push in Hills pro though? That's one way to crush it
I am from Virginia and can say that Roanoke is a sh*t hole. Crime is terrible and the city is going down the tubes. Sad, as that part of the state is beautiful.

The bulk of the WF jobs in Portland are actually in Hillsboro where Intel has multiple locations and is next door to Beaverton where Nike’s headquarters are located. But keep spewing your inane rhetoric, d-mbarse.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
@mpx+1oOfTZn6 Portland and San Francisco are hellscapes. Rampant crime and unmitigated dr-g use. What do you expect? Expansion in those areas? You voted for it.
It's such a slap in the face for people in Portland, OR and San Francisco to see investments in Des Moines, Dallas, and Roanoke while laying off so many people in West Coast cities. Yes, I realize there is a cost differential but doing it so heavy handed is nasty.
I wonder if it will have all the amenities and golf courses that the new Dallas campus will have?
Charlie's latest sparkly thing.
This is where the Portland jobs are going. Probably.
WF has built call centers only to leave in 5 years. WF is slimy-- don't get too excited Roanoke County
