Does anyone have an idea of the numbers, lines of business, and departments that are going to be affected?

Someone who says EVP posted on another similar thread that all middle management jobs are moving to India by Q2 of next year. What do you think?
@1xcs
It is for tech, or maybe we just know how to use it. Search for location strategy. You will see the 2nd or 3rd result is a teamworks post by Tali. This includes a pdf of tech locations.
A few results after the one for tech and I can see Auto is moving from six to three hubs (all are listed), so i’m pretty sure if i cared enough i could search out other lob’s as well.
The formal list of hubs is NOT on Teamworks.
That is a reason why everyone is confused and keeps asking. CS loves increasing frustration and pain.
Not all remote is being laid off. Remote work is not going away 100%. There will always be exceptions.
Why try to remember all the hubs, just look them up on teamworks
@1uxy+1oNQyHeM And there aren’t that many hubs right? I’m trying to remember them all.. DSM, Charlotte, San Fran, San Antonio?…
@1mrv+1oNQyHeM Why would Wells Fargo approve a medical accommodation only to displace employees for having an approved accommodation in place? Where are you getting your information?
Emptying space for the hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan "immigrants" crossing the border with guaranteed work visa's. Remember Venezuela was one of the richest countries until a Socialist took over and destroyed their economy in less than 4 years. They are educated and ready to work......but entering our country through the back door - incentivized by the current president
Once they are finished with operation project location. Laying off people who are not near a WF campus/center and remote. Jobs will open at WF (There's several openings already) for those near a WF campus/Tower. You have to commit to a hybrid for in the office full time.
Everything, everywhere except India. God Bless.
Ditto for non-remote, just later.
There seems to be a misconception on this site that all mass layoffs will have a WARN notice available to the public. Not true. The 60 day notice period (90 day in NY) is given because of the WARN act and satisfies the requirement. There have been mass layoffs conducted every Tuesday after payday for awhile now.
There was an article posted just last week with the CFO saying Wells has reduced staff of over 40k people since mid 2020 and more cuts are coming. That tells you that there have been consistent cuts happening for some time and they confirmed it will continue. There will be cuts on 10/3, 10/17 and 10/31 next month.
From the article: "We continue to believe we’ve got a lot more to do to make the company as efficient as it should be,” Santomassimo told those attending the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference this week. He noted that Wells Fargo has cut almost 40,000 jobs over the last couple of years, lowering headcount every quarter since mid-2020."
How are we supposed to know? Ask Charlie.
lol where are the WARN notices ?
What about us who are going into the office as directed by this company since 2022 but are not in a hub?
@1mrv you make me promises promises.
All remote and it doesn’t matter if you have an accommodation or a disability. You will be axed
Any layoff in Corp. Risk?
There’s a plan in place for this
There are SO many remote employees in/near hubs. Interested to see their fate compare to those in-office folks not near a hub. Fair, much?
Remote in Charlotte and I feel so guilty for being near a hub when my non-hub colleagues (who are stellar) will be laid off soon. But I have an accommodation for now.
I volunteer as tribute….
So many miserable souls here. Getting laid off would be a blessing. Bring it on
Deadwood in Minneapolis and Des Moines are in the pile too.
I hope all those incompetent risk managers in non hub locations.
Oct 17 is the next big wave for some LOBs.
Please let it be QA in Consumer!
All, thousands
Any news about HR employees being affected?
I don't come here to listen to people bi--hing about vaxines and mental illnesses as a means to insult one another, if it's about the subject that's one thing. Stop wasting my time, when the poster is asking a valid question
While marketing markets merrily along. Word is we’re beefing up headcount.
Chop, Chop goes the sound of the heads.
India is not affected and boosting headcounts.
Oh no, not the narrative! (ie anything that isn’t claimed by some anonymous looney online)
We know that past behavior is an indicator of actions likely to be taken by Hudson Yards. As such we'll likely see 500-1000 people laid off next Tuesday. As you're being led out of the building with your cardboard box full of acrylic cubes and recog banners, you'll be whining "but...but...I licked their boots and supported the narrative! Why are they doing this to me..."
This will be the biggest ever. Im probably in it. Tech will be affected the hardest. Budgets are bad. Eyes wide open - Be safe.
This will be a big cut. In before WF does 401k matching date (Oct 16) and holidays.
No one here knows anything, but they will post a lot of guesses based on what the voices in their head tell them.
Tech is effected including digital
