I took the 895,700 offer with my 3.5 million in pension and large 401k. I may find part time work to stay busy when not traveling. Good luck with your retirement.
No current managers are trying to save the company. They are just all for themselves, trying to save their own skins and to pocket as much as possible before they jump the ship as it went down. Those who cared to try to save the company had been forced outlong time ago.
I did just that…did my time built up my 401k as large as possible did as much overtime time as possible! Then I waited patiently for a offer to come which It did got another 200,000 there 500,000 in the pension and large 401(k) see ya!!!! A..hole!
I had 25 years of service and I left 2 months ago. Best decision I ever made. New employer thrilled with my years of skillset in the craft. Everyone waves hello with all 5 fingers and makes eye contact. Feel like I'm in a time warp. Good luck y'all.
The OP is probably a manager. This sounds like a hypocrite. I guess you never complaint about something.
Leaving after 12/31 (so I can get my bonus) or surplused, which ever comes first.
OK Stank…
"I’m so tired of it people getting on here blaming the managers for trying to save this company that only needs saving, because of their own sc--w-ups"
Fixed that for ya - you're very welcome
Op: No, I won't leave until I get a severance package. Giving little effort until them. Stankey was in charge of strategy when the T-Mobile deal was made S well as DTV and WarnerMedia. He's the problem NOT the solution
Go waste all your time on VivaEngage troll
Literally why are you on a site called “the layoff”? Are you impacted by the layoffs? If not, get the fu-k outta here
“Unfortunately Randall and Stankey dealt us a hand of black Aces & Eights.”

“blaming the managers for trying to save this company”
Leadership wouldn’t have to save the company if they hadn’t broken it first. Over 100 billion in bad investments.
If they’d stopped at one huge mistake it could be turned around but they kept going with mistakes that can’t be undone. The very moment we bought Directtv it changed the direction of the company. Now we have to cut just to make the interest payments.
A lot of the more intelligent employees are doing exactly this. Goodbye ATT sorry about your last 2 CEO’s. They’ve put you into financial peril with debt, excessively issuing shares of stock and bad acquisitions. If your complacent about leaving don’t be.
Unfortunately Randall and Stankey dealt us a hand of black Aces & Eights.
Management is the one that screwed up the company. They got their bonuses and left. Now new management has arrived and they think they are trying to fix the company, but they are screwing it up even more. Soon, they will collect their bonus check and also leave. And the cycle repeats itself, just as the debt increases. But then who cares about debt cause most of USA is living on debt since debt to gdp ratio is 122.8% currently. USA can't payoff it's debt now or anytime in the future. So join the club, collect your check, and be happy you have a job to put a roof over your head and feed the family.
Shut up loser
