Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Berkeley Heights Parking is Terrible

The new parking rules…
I think the new rule is the last straw. So many of my peers are actively applying. No such thing as parking issues with a hybrid approach.

I spend 2 hours commuting. 20-25 minutes a day walking/waiting for shuttle to the office. That’s lost time. I wish Sapience tracked that.

Facilities management people do better. Stop being an a-s. Pretend like you work.

Just left Fiserv in January of 2025... to add one more complaint to the parking mess, you have to wait in line for toilet now as they pile more people into an overcrowded situation. Fiserv is the worse!

It was quite clear from the beginning that there was insufficient parking in BH given the goals for butts in seats. No one cared. Logic is not applied here. FB has a spot, what's the issue? I'd be embarrassed if I was part of the real estate team on this...and had no plans other than a ridiculous shuttle.

Thr goal is to cram at least 50 more people in there and keep those levels for 7 YEARS. Good luck

Absence of competence in senior leadership.

A child could count the number of parking spots available and see that there are not enough. That is too much work for senior leadership.

Get used to this type of foresight if you plan on staying around for a while.

Everything about BH is half a-s. The construction is Beijing levels of cheap, layouts are wasteful/senseless, miserable access for handicapped folks, plumbing/appliances are constantly failing, and parking allows for about 1/2-2/3 capacity at best.

But hey, at least there's a helipad for FB.

How is parking over capacity when they have so many seats left to fill to get to their target of 3,000?

op - by “rules” do you mean the requirement to park only in the designated areas, which fiservants have to remember from a weird picture in an email sent out a while back showing two (?) overflow parking areas, one around the hotel and the other “gulag” area even further away?

or is there some new rule they’ve come up with?

Parking at BH is over capacity. Yet management is still making people relocate to BH.

We can afford all this nice remodeled office space but Frank can’t convince the landlord to build a parking deck?

*when I am referring to facilities management I mean management. Not the hardworking staff keeping the building running and clean. They are the nicest people in the building.

sorry rant is over.
