JDNike has been on a steep decline with him as CEO. The stock is cratering. The product reflects his bland white Silicon Valley soullessness. His robotic speeches where he calls himself a coach are tired, uninspired and everyone sees through them. Nike used to be an amazing place to work. Now it’s just like any other place as he su-ks the magic out of the brand. Welcome to the Gap. Meanwhile the board sits on its hands, ignores the truth, and shirks its responsibilities. How can Phil watch as this soulless creature su-ks the life and every penny out of the place? Over 30M a year for what? Now he will blame everyone else and a reorg will come on the backs of the employees. Someone please step up and end this reign of failure.

JD's recent behavior can be likened to someone who's been asleep at the wheel. His attempts to point out areas of failure or make sarcastic remarks about opportunities are not only laughable but also disrespectful to the intelligence of the organization. It wouldn't surprise me if he decides to resign soon, and if he doesn't, there's a strong likelihood of him getting fired before he has the chance. In fact, I've heard a rumor circulating that his termination might be on the horizon, potentially during the week of the 14th this month.
No comment on JD after the results. He did good, right.
Woke enough https://www.oregonlive.com/business/2023/09/former-president-barack-obama-makes-quiet-visit-to-nike-headquarters.html
Stock crashing is good for directors and above to rack up stock options margins and getting more shares per year to rack up dividends.
All the people complaining about JD forgot all the scandals during MP’s last few years.
Lazy overpaid entitled worker bees are ki-ling Nike, not JD.
Troll
PK may have brought JD as a CEO because he really wants Nike as a brand to die
JD is the worst CEO I’ve ever had the misfortune to work for. He does not understand Nike’s brand, nor the people that buy its products. He’s too busy promoting ESG nonsense and taking orders from his consultant puppet masters.
Nike is third worst Dow stock year to date.
That tells the board everything they need to know about the success rate of the JD - zero growth since he took over for MP in 2020. Actually 8% loss.
*28th September
28th March they go public with Q1 FY24 results. If bad, shareholders will be wanting heads to roll plus a massive re-org to save cash initially.
What re-org?
JD is the GOAT. Nike is lucky to have him in the leadership
Perfectly said (unfortunately).
The re-org is here.
