Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Who would really want to be in management?

Who would really want to be in management in this company with the current leadership. A manager in this company is just a puppet of a very self-absorbed, greedy, and shortsighted puppetmaster.

This is perfectly said. I know a few managers who are great people and who are frustrated with the way things are done but any attempt to change anything has failed because it doesn't fit into the "big picture," whatever it might be. I don't envy Fiserv managers.

Would only consider it to increase severance with the next forced relocation. Other than that i dont want to be the bearer of that the next time, even though i dont blame my direct boss its not their call. It was the tax credits and nothing else matters

I'd love to be in management. Fiserv needs some real leaders and not the faux ones we have now.

I feel so bad for them. Everyone is trying to survive. They take the brunt of the employee anger for upper management lack of respect for employees’ lives. I’m out but it still lakes me sad for the good people still facing the horror.

You can only pretend to be happy for so long. I know managers have try to "act" all for the company but it just gets tiring when upper management is making really bad decisionsall the time.

Many have left over this. When you have zero autonomy to manage your employees, or worse get...reward them, then everyday becomes a total slog.
