We were told that they're going to start locking Walmart's orders.
Any other parts of the country getting locked orders?

As a territory manager, does the rep manage the merchandisers/full time order writers, or there will still be an RMS? I don't see how this will work, but like everything at Mondelez, current employees are forced to do tons of tasks everyday that do not work.
They started Texas this week. Orders are 3x the normal order. Stores were sent corporate notification that they were not allowed to refuse trucks. At this point, SRs are just here to help get these loads in the backdoor. Let's face it, order writers can't do it. They're not experienced in the art of BS enough just yet. But... they will get there. I predict by the end of the year, the 2nd round of layoffs will be announced and start 1st of the year. SRs will become full territory managers with 40+ stores, eliminating another 1/2 of the sales force
and FTOWs will have a better handle on the duties expected of them. Maybe wishful thinking but maybe not.
The upper level management wants to get their quarter bonus …
Get ready for those 600 case orders as the holidays approach
the Walmart order lock is coming country wide again. last time they stopped it after we bitched at them in the survey we take. I think that’s coming up soon. but let’s be honest, dictator dirk isn’t gonna listen
Kind of hard to be a “territory manager” when order quantities are out of your hands. And no, I am not calling Customer Care to have them reduce quantities on multiple SKU’s for everyone one of my stores. Guess its gonna pile up until the sp-t hits the fan.
You’re a territory manager now. So manage your territory
Southeast Region-ours started about 6 weeks ago and some stores on the team have 3 pallets of back stock
How are we supposed to go to all of our Walmarts and fix on hands when all we do is work loads on top of the millions of tasks they keep giving us?
Next come the refusals. And then the reversal of the decision to lock orders.
What’s PMR?
Just call customer care with SKU numbers and have them cut the orders. That's what I did when they were locked last time.
It’s happening in the PMR. I traced the email up the chain and apparently SR’s are CRIPPLING the business with order reductions. That’s a direct quote from Walmart team.
They specifically called out 4717’s and 5832’s being consistently OOS, despite having healthy stock in warehouse.
As a FTOW, can’t wait for the sh-t show coming in the next few weeks. Get those On Hands correct guys! Do these corporate mo--ns realize the disconnect at store level? What coach is going to take time to adjust all the damn On Hands? Fu----g joke.
They do this everytime sales are too low. It’s the only way to push product they don’t need in stores. Obviously there’s no bonus incentive to jam anymore. They are starting to realize that. Unfortunately Walmart is going to get the majority
They did that a few years ago and it failed miserable. In the NY area, the orders were too big, three to four pallets. Their backrooms were loaded with Nabisco product.
I talked to Dirk and he said he loves everyone of you. Now get back to work.
Looks like yes
