What is the timeline being given for folks being offered to relocate? Timeline for being let go if they refuse to relocate?

From what i heard, once you train your replacement you are out by the next pay period. Its a numbers game.
I think they are playing a game of chicken to see who will move. I know a few people they did it to a few years ago and they still work there. Glad I left 5 months ago. That place is toxic.
Ready, fire, aim. Followed by lather, rinse, repeat. When our office was closed all the attention was focused on rounding up sheep to visit the wonderland that is BH. No one went. Rapturous offers to actually meet and dine with our fearless leader was met with comments about how folks were afraid they might throttle him. Relo packages are minimal and carry strings. The fact that the pattern continues of unsuccessful consolidation moves is pretty telling. Change control just ain't in FB's wheelhouse. Draconian declarations sure are.
For the person in Houston- Is your entire department remote or are they asking some that work in an office to move?
I had my call today, and they claim "right now there is no timeline" the only thing they were concerned about on the call is the site visit. They are moving my entire department to Lincoln, Nebraska, except for a few they claim to have different roles (since when) got chosen to stay remote. I'm in the city of Houston I don't want to live in Nebraska!! That's not even appealing. You want me to leave the place where Ive built my life and not to mention my husband has been at his company longer than i have. My dream home that i have only lived in for 2 years, at a rate that cannot be matched currently. No information about severance if you choose not to move, and meetings are short.
