Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Move to New Jersey

Sooo you threaten our way of live by tell our family that we need to move to New Jeresy, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, then you threaten us if we don't move we will be let go, but at the same time you don't tell us when we will be let go, SO are we to call your bluff. You know and I know you do not have the skilled work force to fire over 1000 people, you think we are going to train the new employees? Think again, losers.

Could be as early as November (or sooner) for some, or "mid 2024". They didn't really know.

Im in TX, coworker in FL, neither state has income tax. NE is 6.6, which translates to a pay cut for a tax credit to old first data. Paid by old fiserv products

It’s every man and woman for themselves. Do what is right for you. If they want everyone to move to BH, Lincoln, etc. and DNA and Precision people know that won’t happen things could get ugly quickly or you may be in the drivers seat. My money is on getting ugly quickly because Fiserv does not care about the client or its employees. BH and Lincoln staff will not be able to support cores they’re not familiar with yet I bet they’ll be asked to do so. Time to run while you can.

Again I’m not part of this company but I am astonished by what I am reading here. This has to be a back door layoff but what a heartless way to go about it. You deserve better

@OP+1oAseYZj But they have and they will. It's happened to Lake Mary and Beaverton and SF is next in line and it'll keep happening. They know it's a very small percentage of people that will move, if any, from the previous site closures and the severance packages are getting smaller. The job market is completely saturated with Fiserv employees and it's a huge benefit to their competitors. Especially now that our workload is increasing due to clients bailing on Fiserv. I was one of the lucky ones that got the relocate or GTFO 2 years ago and found something right away before $h!t hit the fan. I will gladly give a reference to any of my Fiserv friends looking to get out, but so is everyone else and we're getting 100s of applicants for 1 position with many referrals. Stick together and I would love to see teams coordinate and quit on the same day. Stick it to the man any way you can.

Yep, HR is a joke and we should all team up and hire a lawyer. The way they are doing this is unethical.....
