Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Aetna Clinical Solutions, Utilization Mgmt

We got a notice stating that “most impacted ACS colleagues have been informed this week of decisions affecting them or their teams.” So… I’m thinking this round is over for us in UM.

They did throw in that we will be working on our Medicare stars rating the rest of this year. Haha!

“Yeah your bosses were notified, not you yet today or tomorrow 7-9% out by Friday afternoon. Karma is a bi--h.”

You are the strangest little person. Do you just wait on people to post their update and slam your repetitive 7-9% comment? That’s a little weird. Hopefully you’re not a CVS employee or at least not for much longer as it seems you have more time on your hands than sense in your head.

The Stars Rating discipline is in the hands of CMS. This was an opportunity to clean house of all the schemers. I suspect that the schemes which are profitable were left intact. CMS conducts audits in real time. One of the purchased companies does FaceTime interviews in order to upcode Medicare Advantage. How long before CMS gets wind of that? This is a profitable business with actuarial controls, the US Taxpayer should not be your ultimate source of revenue and profit growth.
