I was an id--t who thought it would be done by the end of Tuesday. Now here I am, unable to sleep once again because this company is not capable of doing anything it sets out to do, including laying people off in the time frame they've provided. What a joke CVS has become...

What activities/intiatives are being halted? Or, are those who remain just expected to do more? What departments have been impacted the most so far?
I think they're finished
the dept I work in the VP stated our layoffs in the dept were over during an unannounced team meeting early Monday morning. We lost 9 people in June, and we lost 6 people on Monday. Positions are not being backfilled. We have more work than people.
Yesterday was only the start
Big areas are going today Wednesday, the biggest chunks are being effected. Any word of any Town Hall or Something else? There are more meetings today. "Cutting the fat"
the time frame was in the coming weeks - rumors are what started and then people responding it was the 14th & 15th. If you actually thought that in 2 days everything would go back you are mistaken or you have not worked in a corporate environment long. There are probably more to go and there is no set time frame and no one owes you a message that it's done. do your job, hope for the best and always have an updated resume. that is corporate - any corporation
Yes the manager will communicate when it’s over.
Nobody told us it was over. Usually there is an announcement by the team's manager.
