Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Be sure to complete your Employee Survey!!

In June… no August, oh no we better push it to September since we are laying off 5K people. I am sure that will hurt our numbers! Those who survive please leave detailed comments on the amount of stress and anxiety this whole experience has caused. Lets all mention our Heart at Work “Put people first” at the top of the list. If you have to lay us off. Fine. But the way this all went down is out right disgusting and goes against this HAW.

I don't dare to be honest. The survey isn't anonymous and I don't want an extra target on my back.

Exit interviews? Hahaha they only do that if you ask for one and even then, they don’t care what you say.

I was affected. No I am not happy, but honestly was looking already. Aetna is not the same since the acquisition. But, I have a friend that is an Executive Director that stated there will probably be another round before the end of the year. Not this large, however.

I thought it was so strange how they made everyone wait almost three weeks to see if they were getting laid off. Much undue stress. Whomever thought that was the way to do it should be fired immediately. I asked my manager if I was getting laid off and she said EAP is available to you if you are feeling anxious about it. What an absolute waste of a person in my opinion. I didn’t get laid off but you never know because I heard that Sept or Oct there will be more. I hope that’s just a rumor or I’ll have a heart attack if I have to wait that long now. The level of trust at this place is ZERO.

Be careful, you know they are not anonymous? Previous position, had a survey, right afterwards a layoff. My friend was blatantly honest, good employee, and was laid off that round. There are no coincidences.

I will be most respectful in my comments but the truth shall be told. Or we can all decide we are not going to participate. It is OPTIONAL right? lol

The surveys aren't 💯 anonymous. My WFH sup was able to see the results.

Imagine thinking “Heart at Work” was anything other than corporate ESG linkedin drivel. Don’t mention it in your exit interviews, waste of air.
