Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Do we know if immediate terms or 3 weeks? 60 days?

Does your last day of work depend on department? Or WARN? I heard they shut some digital people off effc immediately. What have you been told

Different for each person. I have an NDA so my last working day was yesterday. But I was offered salary continuation until 10/21 and then my severance kicks in. I can’t work in the industry for a year.

From what I heard it is from folks impacted 8/31 and then you are on paid leave until approx 10/21

Effective at the end of the month. WARN means nothing honestly.

It all depends but I don’t think warm is involved on the timing. For example, a lot of people (employees not contractors) were let go to today & will remain on payroll thru September. Then they will start severance. So that’s a 7 week bonus pay thru end of next month while they had last day today. The minimum severance for my area started at 13 weeks so that mean that they are getting 20 weeks of pay or 5 months. Some had last day today, some are end of month, and it varies. I think that most layoffs will be announced this week.

Impacted FTE’s in my department will be employed through 8/31. I’d imagine this is the same date across the org with few exceptions.
