My boss’s boss (2 levels up from me) has her calendar public, and I saw that she had a meeting this morning entitled “Important Business Update” on their calendar. I was not on the meeting, and I don’t know who else was. Does that mean they could be laid off? Or someone on our team is laid off?

Honestly I don't think there's any sure way to know. You might have an "Important Business Update" meeting to tell you you're being let go, and others might also have an "Important Business Update" meeting to tell them they are safe (for now).
And then again, tomorrow, they may have another meeting and say "oh, sorry, they made some last minute changes and we're going to have to let you go, too".
There's nothing set in stone. And there's probably 100's of departments being effected so there may be 100 different ways of doing it. Some people might get a 1:1 with their boss or higher up, and others might get notified at a meeting with multiple coworkers who are all getting let go.
Don't assume anything.
The whole way they went about this was awful. They couldn't have picked a worse way to do go about it. It's like they wanted to create as much stress as possible.
Has anyone gotten an individual Business update meeting and not been let go off?

I just got laid off during an "Important Business Update" meeting. I was a developer part of Aetna Digital.
I had a 15 min business update meeting and it was to let us know that the affected people were notified and that we were safe (for now).
"Business update" meeting is layoff meeting.
How long are these 1-on-1 meetings?
Is this meeting 1 on 1 or your skip would call u to join a group meeting
So my teammate just got layoff from from important business update meeting and now I just got the invite as well

anything scheduled for you with "important business update" is your meeting to lay you off
