It's disheartening, but at the same time, promising to read the LinkedIn posts, some are in desperate situations (i.e. H1B visa) and others who are laid off want to help others who are in the same boat
Some of us are yet to hear from our leaders. We have been told nothing
I feel they should have a meeting with us to at least give is some kind of information. We have been told nothing.

Man, like clockwork, once that COVID gravy money stopped layoffs were announced shortly after. But it's not like CVS is the only one affected by the FED money train stopping just look at United Health Group (MASS LAYOFF).
Don't worry Yellen, Jean-Pierre, and Biden told us the economy is rock solid (LOL). But forreal I wish any one laid off the best; it's gonna be rough 12 months.

Any idea how the decision in being made?
Nice that QA mgmt let the rest know they were safe. Lost my boss, people on biz side of my team, had a call with director to tell us about them but there was no “you’re safe” message.
Large Group Underwriting
Medicare Underwriting positions
4 lead directors Medicare STARS. And a major Medicare STARS reorg being announced today.
We had PSS IT QA (PBM) call yesterday evening with 190 folks for 5 min on agenda "Touchbase : Business update" call with Cal Baum, She confirmed that emails were sent to the impacted folks on 08/14 morning. People part of this call were safe and wait for Reorg news next week. When i did the math she has total of 320 under her. So i am assuming 130 were let go. It was painful day for me seeing messages from known people about their job loss with whom i worked for years.
Digital product got a beating today. In retrospect, it seems Pat Walsh, former digital vp of product was asked to leave. just speculation
Any idea how the decisions were being made?

Sr Manager in PBM finance, high performer
There are multiple rounds. Tomorrow is not the last day of all the layoffs. Just the last day of round one.
Hearing from some that it won’t be over until tomorrow. Unsure if that is start or end of. Hang in there.
We lost so much knowledge in Rebates. They did this back in 2010, took us 10 years to recover
The BA COE is now gone
