My next 1:1 is on Tuesday, 8/15, and it was moved from 11am to 2pm—although my manager always shifts the times around for these, and they always fall on Tuesdays, my nerves are still up the roof as you can probably imagine. Any weird movement is suspicious!

The first 2500 Monday
2nd 2500 Tuesday
+ Wednesday dissolved departments outside the individuals.
My experience being laid off with aetna before was some random person just called me at work one day there was no meeting set up
Meetings will be scheduled an hour ahead of time as per HR’s policy on how to handle this payoff.
They won't message u they will call u Mon or Tues.
2 pm PST
Plus it’s likely it’s happening on Monday 8/14.
It’s going to be chaos that one day
My guess, if it has anything to do with the layoffs, is your manager wants it later in the day so there's a better chance of knowing something concrete to tell you, good or bad.
@iiy—no, what I meant is that the original time was for 11am, and was changed/moved to 2pm.
@ljh+1o4EHKKQ Thanks!
I think OP is saying the start time was changed from 11am and updated to 2pm. Not that the meeting is 3hrs.
You have 3 hour 1:1? Mine is no more than 30 minutes
Not first hand information. Heard this from someone. Meeting may be scheduled an hour before. Managers will be asked to notify impacted employees. Date not known. HR is delegating their dirty work to managers. HR is contributing nothing to CVS. Overheads
They don't usually schedule a layoff meeting, they call you on the phone out of the blue to tell you you're being laid off
I thought it would be an email.
No, it probably has nothing at all to do with that.
Most likely, your manager doesn't even know.
Everyone is on edge. Your manager is not going to schedule a meeting with you (oh hey let's meet at 3pm on Wednesday to talk business...). What's most likely going to happen is that your manager will just call you, probably with someone from HR on the line, and it will kind of be all out of the blue.
