The worst thing that can happen is you start to lose your health. I would prefer not have health insurance and not get sick rather than have insurance through work and always at risk of getting 😷 sick.

First of all are you saying the work pressure is what causing health issues? Then the problem lies within you. Why do you take things personally?
There are so many stupid decisions by executives where millions of dollars and time are wasted. Neither they will take it personally or feel guilty, they will always glorify the failures and move on. Nor any of their higher ups will question them.
If you are pressurized to complete some task and you don't complete on time, don't feel guilty but handle it. Even if they get a replacement for you it will take triple the time and may not be of save quality as you would do also.

As someone with preexisting conditions continous health insurance was always a must. Wven with ACA it isn’t much better because it seems there are waiting periods when you sign up for plans there reading the BCBS site.
I often tell my dr I have to keep my job to have insurance to treat my illnesses caused by my job. Probably not the best plan but unfortunately how it had been.
