SRs need to be gone. Period. Y’all don’t even do anything except for walk around stores and pretend to sell. I know I will get told “NO! We do sell and we have to always clean up and merchandise behind lazy FTOWs…etc, etc…” Y’all are so full of it. lol I was in a store yesterday and I had the GM come up to me and ask, hey, who was that guy that works for y’all…all he was doing was standing in the aisle for like 30 minutes while we were trying to work freight. I just started laughing and told them that would be the sales rep y’all haven’t seen until now. Literally no response from the GM…but you knew exactly what they were thinking. Absolutely worthless. The only reason I stay is to watch these worthless folks be laid off or just fired at the first of the year. Honestly, they should have just done away with SRs entirely and split their pay between the merchandisers. Getting paid overtime to watch TV and take imaginary displays…I can’t even tell you the last time I actually saw the SR on this territory. Why you might ask? Because they are too busy “selling” (having a staycation at home), working a 30 case order at a D store, only scheduled for order writes in stores where merchandisers are doing all the actual work, or on a conference call. That’s literally all they do…we all know this. You aren’t fooling anyone except for the d-mb DM and the clueless RMS.

I work 12-13 hrs a day because my order writers can’t figure out how to write a decent store order that’s above the case minimum, build a display, work backstock….etc when they rush thru everything because they don’t wanna work past 3pm and I’m out till 7 or 8pm
It would literally ki-l them if they had to work a reps schedule, I’ve had one try and couldn’t do it
I am 100% behind you on this. I was an SA for a year and 7 of the 10 SRs on my team would order the absolute sh*t out of their stores, then go on vacation. Then I get stuck with GMs yelling at me how the backstock is out of control. None of my order is going up. I understand chasing a number and it's near impossible to hit now, but how about the SRs actually SELLS and orders for product that will GO OUT and not pile up a back room. Ordering does not equal selling. Mind you..this is BEFORE Mission one. I would imagine the sh-t show that's going on with SRs having 25+ stores. That's rough. We had 2 High selling terrortories in my area before mission one and they were failing MISERABLEY.
Mondelez hires anyone that breathes for the merch role. It's not like you actually had any skills or else you would be doing something else. Don't feel special now there.

SRs are B-ms. Lol You can get mad all you want with Merchandisers but just know we are ready to be gone too and when we get something new, we are leaving y’all high and dry. Good luck working those loads during the holidays…maybe save some of that vacation time for then…oh wait…you already used it all up… ;-)
Hey Mr. “DMI Commander”, it sure sounds like you stand around, watch, and talk more than you work. Figured out how to rotated product or order for a display yet? Doubt it, you are too busy constantly whining about SR’s “doing nothing and staying home”, etc. You keep posting on this site and just changing your moniker but everybody knows its the same person writing all these posts. You say you stick around to see SR’s let go but the truth of the matter is that you don’t have the skills to be anything more than an order Writer for this Company. We all know they hired/promoted practically anyone who would take the job, to those positions by default. Now, get back to work! Don’t you have some shelf stock you aren't going to rotate and some displays you won’t fill or order for?

Yeah, let me just sit at home and write 5 orders and throw 254 cases today. Don’t you look at a schedule? Out here throwing cases, writing orders, cleaning up unorganized back rooms, answering phone calls and having to to cover for you guys and explain ourselves when it’s the first time we hear of issues. It’s not like you guys communicate anything back to us anyway. Working a full day and having to dummy things down for order writers because you guys don’t know how to order to fill and back off when a display comes down, blowing up the back rooms again. Keep doing what you’re doing dude. You’re unhappy, we’re unhappy.
Hahaha, a merchandisers job is to do manual labor, sorry if you're butt hurt about it. Yes, sales reps also work freight, but we're the brains behind the route. Without sales reps managing "the help," nothing would get done. You sound bitter that you're a "worker"
I can't wait until sales reps are gone either, then all you whiny, cry baby merchandisers can actually do the full job. Oh wait, the company will just d-mb down the requirements to fit all the merchandisers incompetencies so the program "looks" like a success. Basically what the company is already doing...
