Agreed, No department is going to walk away from this restructuring untouched. It's a complete overhaul. I heard the 5000 now is the beginning, to expect another 5000 every few months until they get it where they want it. less focus on pharmacy and more on primary care. This company has tons of positions that don't fit into that model, and tons of departments that have not been profitable in a long time.

Other comments cleared it up but as someone who works at CVS and might get laid off so many acronyms are tossed around you don’t know what the heck is going on.

Haven't we gotten this yet? Entire Divisions are done, so are random dead wood and redundancies. No department will be unaffected. Get that in to your brains. This is a total complete redo of the company top to bottom.

So many people being affected with this layoffs. Yes or No answers would be ideal. Also, other departments being affected.

HSS is also an acronym for Health Services Scheduling (a release train on digital). Another vote for NOT using acronyms on this page.
