Is it all VZB or select areas?
Rifs and outsourcing will pump the stock up short term. Less employees seems to almost universally make the street happy.
This is what would be called training your replacement! Those employees in transition are ineligible to apply or be considered l for other positions in VZ.
So I'm curious, alot of managed services are already offshore in the Phillipines. When they say everything post sales, does that include the network install teams as well?
They are selling the V-Teamers. Their most important asset, supposedly. This definitely doesn’t live up to the Credo.
How much did shanks or scampath make on the side to broker this deal?? This really need to be looked at the federal level. With all the govt contracts we have. We are going to have some 7/11 manager run and monitor the network from dirty a-s India. I would be calling my congressman and making them aware.
We were informed we'll keep our same base pay and job for a minimum of 1 year. They will match similar long & short term incentives we have currently with Verizon. Our years of service with VZ will be honored/transferred, unused and accrued vacation are paid out. I think the goal is to have us maintain the same role and customer you are supporting you are currently supporting, but the relationship is unclear at this point. What we don't know is what HCLTech's benefits/insurance actually are yet.
Impacts were within Global Customer Operations, which includes departments in Service Assurance & Management, PMs & OMs, NOC...
Another reason why VZ sux. More rumored RIF’s coming later this year. Any takers stock dives to below $30 before the end of the year?!
Does anyone know how many Verizon employees are being transferred to HCLTech?
Sorry for your situation. Do you have details of what are employees being offered as compensation/benefits and for how long?
It's not outsourcing. As one of those employees who will be sold to HCL in the deal I am not allowed to take a package, transfer within VZ and will lose m current VZ compensation and benefits packages. What about that is outsourcing? It's like we are being screwed by VZ just like the infosys sales of IT resources.. Can you hear me now? Yea, it's the employees screaming in pain while being screwed.. There is nothing positive for the employees getting transferred to a Indian Company.. So much for VZ with their DEI, employee retention and other BS they spew..
