Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Where should I apply?

Where is everyone applying? Any good job search sites that someone can point me to? I love my job and hate this but pretty sure my dept is being cut. Our meetings have been cancelled, our case loads have disappeared. Please help me!

With all the massive layoffs everywhere you might try the medicaid office in your state. :/ Gvt jobs are pretty safe.

Non-profit insurance companies offer a great transition for many CVS Health colleagues. If out of Woonsocket there are number of new england based companies such as Point32Health or wellsense.

In my last job hunt, I strictly used LinkedIn to find job openings.

Look at large healthcare organizations where your healthcare experience could easily translate, and check their job openings page. Or former experience- you’ll likely have a better chance getting a job at a healthcare related company if you have experience in that industry. Bookmark the ones that catch your attention and check back weekly for new openings.

Follow recruiters who post job openings in your industry or specialty on LinkedIn.

If you live near a metro area or big city, check their job boards. In my state we have job boards specifically for tech and startup company jobs.

Try to apply to jobs within a day or two of them being posted. Just anecdotal, but my spouse noticed when they did that they seemed to have better odds of at least getting a phone interview.

It all depends what dept/position you are in and where your specialty lies. I plan on applying to our competitors, I work on the networks side.
