My grade starts at 13 weeks. It does increase with years of service, but it's not linear in any way. I think it used to be what was described below, but it isn't that way now

For those asking about how much severance typically 4 weeks plus two weeks for every year of service unless you had a higher position probably more. It should be in hr policies under severance

HR shills are assigned to monitor this site and vote negative. What a joke.

Be on the lookout for a CVS scam. Managers will get a budget allocation for severance. Some people will not get severance. Someone at Aetna will plant an unsigned email in your outbox that threatens the company. That will be grounds to terminate you without severance. Keep records of all of the schemes.

If they didn’t want people to panic, check severance and ask managers who is getting cut, then they shouldn’t have announced it so far ahead of the actual layoffs, not as broadly.

Don’t threaten mine and my family’s livelihood and then act like I’m overreacting for being worried.

Our HR team is a bloated useless mess. The cuts should start right at the top of that disaster.

No the Severance Policy is posted in Colleague Zone for all to see. The comment meant something like
everyone relax, stop freaking out, stop panicking, no one needs to be rushing to read a severance policy” my interpretation.
If you read Karen's original message severance terms will apply

I'm not sure I understand, does that mean there will be people laid off without severance?

Total Rewards call "don't everyone rush to Colleague Zone to look at the Severance policy" . Stop asking leaders about who is being laid off because they do not know. In October another hammer comes down on HR after the new system goes into place

These are human beings, with families, who are concerned about their livelihoods. Don't be an a-s.

they don't call it humanless resources for nothing - - HR is no value add - a store clerk could perform their functions

Good! HR are completely useless and I hope they trim all the D&I and Corp Communications staff with them. If I have to read another “mental health” puff piece on Heartbeat after all this is over I might just terminate myself.
