There is no longer any trust here

I am not sure whether the leadership has less faith in the employees or the employees have less faith in the leadership.

As for me, I don't trust them at all, but I'm curious if, and when, you lost trust in this leadership?

Remember kids you don’t tell GM what you want to drive GM tells you what to drive.

The problem: outside of the Detroit metro area theres a good mix of all car brands not just US OEM. Competition exists that has reduced GM’s stance.

Its just all a game. How you figure to play it is up to you. All they want is a warm body. They say they want people who are trained, intelligent, has skills, but they are seriously afraid of these types of people. These types never get promoted. Lolk at the lost of people who were previously cut in 2019.

Trust me. The grass isn't always greener. I recently left GM (VSP), and I will be looking to return when I am able. The new place is way more toxic.

You don't know GM until you hire and fire with them at least a half dozen times. Trust, was blown decades ago.

Anyone remember Wagners speech telling us how GM wasn't going bankrupt? I told everyone we'll be bankrupt in six months. I was wrong, it was nine months. I remember watching and commenting at the VEC, right above the cafeteria when that speech came across. As the cheerleaders told me that won't happen, they never apologize when they're wrong.

Barra has a thing with 2 billion dollars in cost reduction, she always has across many iterations. I believe there is one ongoing currently. Open floorplan BS, that was another fun time. They made the mistake of POLLING the campus for their opinions before the attack, whether they wanted it or not. 95% said no. They responded with a kind "tough, eff you, it's happening anyways so live it with". Ever hear about the people fighting over "unassigned" seats, but claimed the seats simply because it was routine? Yeah, it happened. They were fired.

Lmao. When did they lose trust? When did they have integrity to begin with? They claim professional grade, but they are anything but. They since changed their logo from decades long strong, and dominance, to this impotent little light bulb Prius beep beep nonsense.

I won't mention their senior executive name, but he told us openly, with these Denali lines, they create $1500 in content to sell to the public, and mark it up 10x. $15000 just to wear the Denali badge. Talk about eff you, thank you for playing.

You tell me. Do you trust these people? Some of us know more about this company, than the senior teams know about this company. Trust, there is no trust unless you are naive. But times, tends to set all that right. With enough time, you will learn your trade, and all the malevolent actors involved.

Every time they sent out a survey, ignored the results and did the opposite of what people wanted, it chipped away at their credibility. They are almost out of credibility now, and the endless woke struggle sessions and Marxist catchphrases aren’t helping.
