The support engineers in India will ultimately be replaced with AI support bots, that have the same skills:
- . Ability to read a script - just!
- . Cut you off when you ask a question they don’t have the answer to!

I heard that HPE management types were panicking when all the best engineers jumped ship after they realized their jobs were at risk for offshoring too. Most of those who left got nice pay increases.
