Who do you think has to pick up your slack?

you can take vested stocks. They will be in your brokerage account that fiserv cannot access. You should exercise your RSUs. The RSUs unvested will be gone
btw if you are laid off do you keep your vested or unvested stocks? Or they force you to sell the vested stocks?
If they wanted people to work more than 40 hrs per week, adding 8-10+ hours of commute per week was not a wise move.
Quiet Quiters simply refuse to do any more or any less than they were hired and are paid to do. Why do you see fault in that? The slack you're picking up isn't theirs, it's the folks that were laid off, or never hired despite the business need to grow.
In other words, you're picking up FB, GC, HP, etc.; basically, anyone with C or SVP starting their title, their slack. All so they can add a couple pennies each to their massive volumes of stock... But enjoy your extra $5-10 in total stock value, assuming you're in possession of any, increase for your multiple hours of overtime. I'm sure the execs will [not] think of you on their boat, next vacation, or house party for their n-th new house.
Stop the layoffs by stopping picking up the slack.
someone is calling it quiet quitting I'm calling it you will get only what you paid for. Do you also cry in grocery shop when you are exepting that you will get always something for free?!? Do you cry at gas station that you only get the gas that you paid for?!? This with above and beyond is just corporate propaganda so they can squize from you more money for share holders and executives. Also where are the employer "above and beyond" for employees, or it only apply the other way around?!? Somebody could say that you are doing it for promotion... Boy the promotion is not garanteed by your performence but rather who are your friends at work. Imagine all your team is doing "above and beyond" the results? Look these * are doing unpaid work so we can fire x other workers. When you suddenly lower your performance your manager and HR will be right next to you with questions what is happening you are underperforming!
You’re blaming the wrong people. Quiet quitting is a result of bad management. People are no longer willing to do extra for a company that won’t do anything for them. See: RTO policy
Fiserv as a company should recognize that employees should be paid better according to the roles/jobs they expect us to do.
The cost of living has drastically gone up and the pay doesn't reflect it.
People should not have to have 2-3 jobs just to live paycheck to paycheck when they go above and beyond for their employers .
ALSO the requirements of being in office drains people due to commuting, gas prices, etc.
The added daily distractions since returning to office is very high compared to working from home.
People are coming in when sick since they are unable to work from home.
IMO
Your sacrifice will be forgotten by your team members even faster than it will be forgotten by the company.
Thank you for your service.
I make it a point to only put in slightly more effort than what the rest of my team produces on average, to avoid layoffs. It's working because two people from my team have been let go thus far; meanwhile, I am coasting stress-free.
I feel for you. Ask the Ge----o.
you're choosing to pick up that slack. people can leave if they like - they don't owe you nor the company anything.
No one should pick anyone's slack. That's the whole point.
