My plan has got to be the biggest cash grab I've seen yet from this company. Along with the perks, plus set up and go. Get written up if nobody buys the sh-t, even though their idea is horrible. Who goes to a phone store to buy streaming subscriptions...nobody. I thought Verlizon would have learned it didn't work with the previous plans, so let's compound it priced higher is the solution? Poor decision making on the higher up end, I would say. Thoughts and opinions welcome.

I’d say if no one being in the store to buy it is a big problem. Having to con someone into getting it may be the sales persons job but it makes it alot more difficult when it is always things they don’t want that you need to sell.
Sorry but this too (for those of us leaving) won't be a problem either after next month.
Lol the Verizon shills are so funny. We're selling ice to eskimos. What did you learn about your customer? They came in to upgrade to the new iphone because their battery dies fast but I made sure to ask them what they do in their spare time and how many kids that they have. Biggest failure of this company is the put so many dam roadblocks and barriers into doing the simplest thing like selling people stuff they want. Oh you want to buy this new phone? let me make you 12 quotes based on what I learned where you like to vacation.
We hired you to be a salesperson. Not an order taker. Do your job. If you don't like it, leave. I hear Wallyworld needs janitors.

I really hope they pay u the extra money on the side for coming & posting on here. May be they will add it on ur commission as an addition kicker, LOL. Now go back to the store & slam customers for ur leadership, click selfies & post it on group chat & enjoy bootlicking at the same time. Peace ✌️!!
No one goes into a store to buy it, it’s your job to sell it. They’re in the store for something, how about you make sure that they walk out with that something as well as the things that they NEED based on what you learn about them. It’s not a bad thing to give them things they didn’t have but that they realized they needed. Your first mistake is already going into it with that mindset. What is it that you disagree with most, the fact that we offer it, or the fact that you have to sell it?
The structure of the plan is good, but they priced it as if we still had a significant Network advantage. Just D-mb. They need to fire the Strategy VP. You don't play in the premium space if you're no longer the premium brand. I'm sure messaging coming out of Q2 will be about reducing churn.
Service is horrible. Retail leadership is awful. Prices are way too high.
Employees hate it why would customers buy?
Bottom Line, Hans and his Clowns under him need to pack their bags and exit Verizon. Enough damage done to the company. We demand his termination immediately.
I love how the verbiage on the marketing is like "my plan, you're in control" yet we are expected to slam them on customers. Because lets be real, the only perks going out the door are being slammed or glossed over. They also set up all these interactive screens in the stores (waste of money) so customers can pick their own perks. Customer will grab a rep and be like "um I don't want any of this, can I just get a phone plan" as OP said terrible and stupid way to try to make money.
I suppose at least the company is trying to make money. Not in a good way but at least they are giving it that good ol mba try.
Yes -we are sinking quickly. It’s clear to anyone with a brain that we have HORRIBLE leadership from Hans on down. If we don’t do something soon - the pink signs will have taken over. I already see it happening. Too bad - this used to be a great company that I was proud to work for. Hans - go back to your home country. You’ve done enough damage to 2 good companies.
