Well, there goes 12 years of loyalty. I also got no severance so foe those thinking a severance package is guaranteed, think again.

I hear FIS is hiring… not sure if it is better but I hear they have remote roles
Sadly, many years ago I was the beaten shelter dog coming from a toxic wasteland to join Fiserv. It was a breath of fresh air.
Ironically, I find myself in the same position yet again. I am looking daily for jobs. It sure didn’t take long for Frank to f-ck this place up all to h-ll.
I’m sorry you got RIF’ed. Fingers crossed you’ll land something soon.
Sorry to hear this mate. Was there a cause given since no severence? If yes, what was it?
Congratulations on your next higher paying job.
While I truly feel for you, and others in the same boat as you, this is example 997 of why anyone who wants to have even a remotely positive working experience should GTFO of Fiserv ASAP.
I left a few months back and I have to tell you, it's been a complete mental retraining to go to an employer that operates normally and is invested in their staff. At times I've felt like the abused shelter pup that gets adopted by a truly caring family and is just waiting for the other shoe to drop so my past "normalcy" resumes.
I'll say it again. Leverage your friends, former colleagues who already left, and connections to find a path out. You'll be stunned what you find. Fiserv is anything but normal. It's a Fintech sweatshop.
Sorry to hear that mate. I heard the same from some colleagues in Delaware. From what I understand,.. There is no severance requirement in Delaware, nor are there any rules regarding the manner of termination for at-will employees. The Delaware Wage Payment & Collection Act sets forth the requirements for final pay upon termination. Not sure what office or state you worked at but I would think it differs by state. If it’s true no severance package is being offered I would suspect the $187 million Fiserv paid out during the 2022 RIF events. Best of luck mate(s).
"...12 years of loyalty..." No such thing matters to the sociopaths running these companies
Severance is not given because the company wishes you well. Severance is given to avoid lawsuits. To get severance, you have to sign away your right to sue Fiserv for anything and everything. If you were let go without severance, DO NOT sign anything. Tell them you need to speak with your attorney, then find an employment lawyer for a free consult.
Did you go into the office? Swipe your stupid badge? Jump through hoops and meet their unrealistic goals? Was it a blindside? Anyone else in your BU? What type of job did you have?
The severance, 2 weeks per years of service, is a set policy...you should expect to get paperwork about it via email in 24-48 hours. Separation without severance should only be due to voluntary separation (quitting) or for cause.
What group were you in?
Oh no!!! Did they say why no severance?
So sorry to hear this.
Sorry that happen to you. Probably more layoffs to come.
