Has anyone tried to find a fully remote job (with the prospect that it will remain so) somewhere else in this industry, and was paid similarly or better?

I'll add Atlassian. And also nearly all SaaS companies. Being interview-ready is the single best way to counter the last month's stream of lies from Schwab executives.
Think about all the lies in the last 4 weeks, and then extrapolate that out to the next 6 months. It's going to get gross here.

Yeah, it’s out there. It also requires me to lose my network in Schwab and re-interview. Not that I won’t but I truly hate the idea. It sucks.
