Midrange for grade 13 is 165k though it all depends on location and experience.

Let’s close sites and hire in one of the most expensive places in the country. That sounds like a real good business model…..

On my pay I can only afford an 8 bed 6.5 bath house on several acres. Should I leave?

In regards to what @1eyx+1nqTIRl0 mentioned about MAGIC I agree ! That was a waste of time and money !! That “training” was just smoke and mirrors. The clients are the ones who will continue to suffer more. People, it’s all about the numbers, that’s it !

You are four levels above myself and making about 20k more.

Take that as you will.

I was grade 10 and hit my 7 year mark recently. Was making 79K.
Left a month ago and went to a competitor with same role and was hired at 115k.
Get. Out. Now.

I left a while ago, but I used to be grade 10 and my base was 130k.

Is 150k total comp or just your base?

They don't give a damn about client facing... anymore. Just 2 years ago I went through the "Magic" training for support. They took it seriously... so did I. Making sure the client is treated with respect. Now they close your cases with unverified answers. It's a numbers game and it is sickening.

I used to work for a company which disclosed the grade level, the minimum, midpoint and maximum. This information gave people a reason to strive for their next promotion. Instead, we have people who are online trying to guess if they are being compensated fairly.

There are too many people being promoted as a lateral move with no increase. These people are probably under paid. But then again, we know that the promotional increases come from the same pot of money that raises come from. A portion of the merit increase is held back each year usually between 1/4 and 1/2 a percent to fund promotions.

If you were promoted, and didn't get a raise, you have little chance of ever catching up.

I made way less than that and probably was overqualified for my role. Which is why I just quit. Feels great to be done with that place. Already have several interviews.

I could write I make $230,000 and who would question that. Oh, truth is that I am retired and long gone, so claiming to make a number is to be questioned.

I agree with @xkj+1nqTIRl0, do a comparison. I can tell you It varies based on several factors. Mine is a G 12, and just a little north of 160K. I find that I’m well compensated within the “technical” arena was that I’m responsible for. Best of mate!

If you have to ask.... you must still be proud and happy. I get paid half of that. I feel like a scab. So many good people just thrown away. I think they layoff the higher paid..... more experienced. Leaving us newer, lower paid folks to clean up their mess.

Would depend on location and job classification. If technical and client facing yes you are under paid.

Compare the salary of your next job offer to your current salary, then you can make an informed decision.
