Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

What happened to the once innovative company?

This company used to care about innovation. Unfortunately, it seems that it is not among the priorities nowadays at all.

Fiserv has NEVER been about real innovation. It's always been running behind the curve. Even by acquiring companies, it acquired them AFTER the innovation was in market. Any product acquired is always dismantled and screwed up. There's so many examples of that.

What Fiserv used to be good with was selection. It was built in a way that because of its acquisitions, a good share of the market had some sort of Fiserv product even when on a competitors core.

With the new regime, even the old steady software is no longer able to be maintained because od all the knowledge lost. Fiserv is brining fresh blood in who doesn't know their elbows feom their arses and who cannot keep the infrastructure alive.

Fiserv , FrankServ / Innovation don’t go together! Fiserv is the McDonalds in the tech space. Past 3 years, it even got worse.

Bill Paine was an innovation. Until they got in trouble for going out in public with it.

They've always been an acquirer, not an innovator. What innovations are you talking about? I've been here 29 years and don't recall any. Well...maybe Zash Pay. LOLOL
