Antonio made a splash with HPE employees and customers alike with his ugly $1300 blue Louis Vuitton sneakers and $700 Louis Vuitton belt. The man is out of touch and scored zero points with the observant. He's a 56-year-old, who looks 70 and is trying too hard to be cool. Dude, you are not in the NFL. Please pretend that you are in touch with the people who work for you and are a good steward of money.

Neri is a joke. I get that HPE wanted to "foster" (more like fake) a culture of promoting from within, but HPE has had some of the WORST CEOs ever, Meg whitman was one of the worst and destroyed the company, setting up the new HPE for failure from the start, so I am surprised it still exists. But we needed, and still need, a knowledgeable CEO that can bring HPE out of the sh----r, and Neri was not, is not, and will not be the person. Stop virtue signaling with trying to promote someone from within and just outside hire the correct person for the job.
Neri is pushing a sh---y idea of "services-led" but doing absolutely nothing to fund innovation to make those SERVICES and sell them, as all we are still doing is pushing hardware because thats all we know. Also, he is putting all his eggs in one basket with GreenLake, but that thing is a clusterfu-k and joke in the enterprise world, not competitive at all with the rest of their market. GL PCE is a joke, just reskinned Morpheus over VMWare... Nothing innovative or proprietary, HPE doesn't want to risk creating our own products. Neri is a coward that has no clue what he is doing, just soaking up as much cash as he can for as long as he can.
It’s actually criminal what Neri is doing. He is STEALING from the company by jet setting on a private plane around the world, attending F1 events and other ridiculously expensive things that only benefit him.
Meanwhile, most of my teammates and others in our org got a smaller bonus and raise (for those who even got a raise, which was the minority) last year than Antonio's shoes and belt were worth. And that during a 12-16% real inflation environment. Amazingly out of touch. Notice that for the last 3 years, not a single executive has actually purchased HPE stock. That should tell you exactly what they believe this company is worth.
Meanwhile the company continues to off-shore and WFR the US workforce. I guess he needs more bonus to finance his id--tic purchases. I always thought the guy was a clown who has little idea as to what is really going on in the company. Totally clueless!
Agreed, and on the previous ATM, there seemed to be an inside joke amongst "the guys" about sneakers.
I do appreciate the newer format of the ATM, and rotating "host" speakers. However, the "cool boy club" stuff needs to stop.
