Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Thinking

A lot of you should seek employment elsewhere. If you don’t want to back this leadership and ride this rocket to $250 why stay. I know the OFS Ohio folks can’t find equitable pay but what’s up with the rest of you

Well, I climbed the ladder a little too far here so it’s taking me longer because there are fewer options but do trust, I am looking.

Been wondering where to put this, and this seems like a great spot. I started a new position with a different company recently and I am FLOORED at what a normal work environment looks/feels like. I am going through s recalibration of sorts, gone for me are the micromanaging days, worrying about being green on Teams, my keystroke count, where I am working from, etc. I can now do my work, have actual flexibility, and be in a normal work "relationship". I joked a while back that working at Fiserv leads a person to Stockholm Syndrome. I didn't realize how scarily accurate this was.

The environment we have to work in at Fiserv is NOT normal. It's absolute trash. For those of you who are not looking, you should start. Don't sit around and wait for a severance package while they pile four other peoples jobs on you. It may take time to find the right role, took me several months, but it's absolutely worth the time and effort. This is 200% true if you are one of the few remaining remote people.

I'm here to tell you, you don't have to hate your job. We get conditioned to think that is normal at Fiserv because it's a complete shitshow run by a bunch of crusty old white dudes who are stuck in the 1950's. Get your resume together, hire a service to refine it or a career coach (these are investments in your future!) and GTFO. Leave rocket man here watching the stock implode. He/she deserves to go down with the ship. You don't.

OP thinks this is a rocket ship, d-mb a-s doesn't realize this rocket ship is really an ICBM headed straight for Brookfield, WI.

Thinking…you should shut your sarcastic mouth. There is no “leadership” to back, what runs this company right now is not leadership it’s blind arrogance. So get that one right first. Second, the only one who thinks this “rocket” is shooting to 250 are the ignorant, like you. So there you have it, the worst combination I’m business. Arrogance and Ignorance combined to create one big Id--tic mess. FB a leader ? FB is a wrecker of companies, a user who has never built a thing himself in Fintech. He will gut this fish like he did First Data until there’s nothing left and parachute out as your so called “rocket” plummets to reality.

Put your money where your mouth is. Make an open offer of severance to anyone who wants one in Fiserv.

Who cares about the stock. As long as I get paid, I will stay until something better shows up.
