Mid band 5g doesn’t penetrate walls. Tmo owns mid band in the 2.5ghz range while Verizon overage for mid band in the 3.7ghz range? What is the difference you ask? About half the distance of tmo and twice the number of towers to match coverage

All “5G” is not a scam, I get 1200 MBPS on my tmobile home internet, xfinity was 200 and cost triple. In nowhere Georgia lol, you ever seen p orn without pixels? Life changing

It's not really a joke. As long as they limit the millimeter wave to sports stadiums, arenas, concerts, downtown areas and shopping centers it is a great service if deployed in the correct areas. Mid band 5G everywhere else where coverage is needed. The high band, mmw 5G has much more bandwidth, but just maybe a 1000 feet of coverage. As opposed to midband where the bandwidth is narrower, data somewhat slower, but miles of coverage you will never get with mmw.

Leadership keeps saying that it will get better starting in December when we can start deploying C Band of some spectrum of something like that.

Our network used to be rock solid. Now it's absolute trash and the majority of our day on the frontline is now spent trying to explain why it's trash to our customers. Upper management doesn't care that for every 4 home internets we sell, 3 and a half get returned, as long as home internets go out the door. They don't even acknowledge or admit the network is deteriorated to sh-t, even though their own phones don't even work they visit our store. What was once our #1 asset is now one of our largest liabilities. Fix the godda-n network. Make us like we were. We want to be the best again, godda-mit.

Wow if the service is poor in the buildings we actually work in, then what kind of service are we providing our customers?

Base stations of 4G and 3G are way better than 5G

It does not work in large parts of our building at Hidden Ridge. It’s my understanding from the facilities team that the antennae are even up on the roof? How could that be?

So, true! I live in an area that previously had awesome VZ coverage and nowadays, it SUCKS so hard that I just shake my head in disbelief that the mo--ns at the top made these poor decisions. I currently can't get signal in a lot of places where I previously had unmatchable coverage. Our company can longer tout our network or its coverage as the golden foundation of our service and that is just THE FACT of current state of Verizon Wireless service.

The reason 5g is so bad is that Verizon bought poor spectrum that doesn’t travel far or penetrate walls. They let T-Mobile buy the valuable 600mhz which has 10x the range of c band and 1000x the range of mmWave
