Why would we? I wasn't affected but I've already spruced up my resume and I'm planning to leave as soon as I can. I don't want to stay at a place that disrespects its employees in this way. Having layoffs and keeping everybody in the dark about it is a cowardly move and utterly disrespectful. I know I have options and I'm about to make use of them. Watch as the brain drain starts after this...

The high performers have already left or even stack ranked and fired. Sooner or later everyone will be targeted.
My manager wrote lies (and highly exaggerated stuff) about my performance and put me on PIP. As I was on visa, I couldn't fight back. Found a great job even in the tough economy and stunned them, which was a slap on their face.
The way the entire process happened has made me realize (keeping biases aside) that C1 is a really unethical firm and they'll lie to any extent to get someone fired. The severance was good though (much higher than year end bonus).
I was redeployed and had to reapply and interview for my own job and I’m a top performer. I scored Very Strong on my year end rating and was ranked number 3 in the department. Manager never gave me any feedback on my performance than positive and they didn’t choose me so now I’m out of a job 11 days before my 10 year anniversary. Managers disappear will not explain anything, keep you in the dark, and purposely not give good feedback on your behalf for roles inside the company which all get sp-t back at me as no’s. They lie. They don’t really want you to find another role in the company they want you out and they push political agenda on their associates.
Place is disgusting. I'm still traumatized by everything that has happened to me here.
DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY WILL TRY TO FIRE YOU WITH EXAGGERATED CLAIMS AND MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE.
